This is an exceptional area to explore, and the highlight of any trip to southwest canyon country. En route to White Pockets, drive off road through dramatic landscapes. Journey along the House Rock Valley road for an introduction to the Grand Staircase-Escalante. Travel along the backcountry sandy roads, ascending to an altitude of approximately 6,000 feet. What a unique place and experience! Our guide was knowledgeable about the area, He helped us set up some fun photo ops. Highly recommend for those that can handle a super bumpy car ride and hot temperatures (in the summer).
