Owakudani is a volcanic valley formed over 3000 years ago after the eruption of Mount Hakone, featuring active sulfur vents and hot springs. Here, you can purchase eggs boiled in the volcanically heated waters, which have shells turned black due to a chemical reaction with the spring water. Lake Ashi, formed by the volcanic eruption of Mount Hakone, is a caldera lake surrounded by mountains and known for its breathtaking scenery. Evening: Izu Shuzenji Onsen Retreat As the day winds down, we'll guide you to the Izu Shuzenji Onsen Hotel, where you can indulge in a traditional Japanese onsen experience, complete with a kaiseki dinner that highlights local flavors. Day 2: Izu's Natural Delights and Kamakura's Historic Charm Morning: Stroll Through Shuzenji Onsen Street Wake up to the sounds of nature and begin your day with a leisurely stroll through the Michelin two-starred Shuzenji Onsen Street, soaking in the atmosphere of old Japan. This tour was unforgettable, especially thanks to our amazing guide! Mt. Fuji was absolutely breathtaking, and the clear weather made it even more magical. In Kamakura, the temples and Great Buddha were mesmerizing, and the guide’s knowledge brought everything to life. The day was perfectly organized, stress-free with just the right amount of time at each spot. Their tips on local snacks and souvenirs were fantastic too.

The tour was amazing. Especially our guide Elaine was perfect. She was the best guide i have ever met. she was welcoming, helpfull, smiley, and gave very good info. Also our bus driver - i guess odamasan- was very nice guy. The temples and sites we visit were very original. we were pleased.
