Meteora: Sunset Tour with Monastery & Hermit Cave

We recently took a sunset tour of Meteora with Apostolis, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment the trip began, it was clear that Apostolis is incredibly passionate about the history and culture of Meteora. His enthusiasm was infectious, making every moment of the tour not only informative but also deeply engaging. Apostolis’ shared fascinating details that made us appreciate the rich heritage of the area even more. The trip itself was very well organized — everything ran smoothly, and we felt that the pace was perfect for taking in the breathtaking scenery and learning about the history without feeling rushed. The highlight, of course, was watching the sun set over the Meteora rock formations, an absolutely magical experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire tour and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Apostolis’ knowledge and passion made this tour one of the best parts of our stay! 10/10

The tour was complex, very well balanced and structured. It covered all areas of interest, from geology, to history, art, religion and traditions. The guide was not just well prepared and knowledgeable, but also passionate and willing to support as much as possible. We covered many places of interest and had an excellent time.
