2 days : El Jem, Matmata, Douz, Tozeur, Chebika, Tamerza

After picking up from your hotel in Tunis, Hammamet, Sousse or Monastir, we head towards the south of Tunisia passing through El Jem where we will stop to admire the collacium, the 2nd largest Roman Amphitheater in the Mediterranean.
We will continue our journey to Matmata where we will take a break for lunch after which we will visit Sidi Driss where one of the scènes of StarWars scènes were shot and then a troglodyte house (loft dug into the mountains in which the natives of the region live).
We will continue towards Douz la Porte de Desert, admiring the sand dunes and paying attention to the troop of camels that will cut our path from time to time.
Arrival in Douz will be at sunset. You will enjoy a ride on the back of a camel or on a quad wearing the *djebba and Hrem* local dress of the region.
The night at the hotel will not be calm since a folkloric evening awaits you after dinner: dance, shows and typical entertainment recalling the Saharan culture of Tunisia.
Early in the morning, depart towards Tozeur via Chatt El Jerid; the largest saline plain or sebkha in the Maghreb covering approximately 5000km2.
On arrival in Tozeur the carriages are waiting for us to take us on a walk in one of the date oases. The only agriculture in the region but invading markets around the world under the name ''Deglet Ennour''.

Passing through Kairouan we will stop at the Islamic capital to visit the famous Okba Ibn Nafeâ mosque and the Aglabite Basins.
Finally direction towards the starting point with an adventure which will remain engraved and will remind you that the beauty of Tunisia is not
other than this unique mix between modernity and rural life.
