OMGGGGG.! Honestly, keeping my expectations in check I wasn’t anticipating on seeing any dolphins, but, thankfully, I was wrong.! Not only did we see dolphins we got up close & personal with them as they put on an almost 10 minute show for us. It was the most magical experience in the most magical place. The sun glistening while kayaking through the calm water taking in the beauty of Kaikōura was beyond peaceful. This was so much more than I ever imagined and I’d do it again in a heartbeat.!
A lovely evening with plenty of wildlife to see. It was great to be able to get so close to the fur seals and have the occasional one pop up in front of you. Kaikoura kayaks are well organized and the kayaks were v stable even though there was a bit of swell. I felt v safe in their hands would definitely recommend this trip
