Tallinn: City Sightseeing Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour

The Estonian maritime city of Tallinn is truly one of the gems of Northern Europe. The old town has been astonishingly well preserved and was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997. There is also a new town center, called Vabaduse Valjak or Freedom Square, at the edge of the old town. Nearby is the giant matchbox of Hotel Viru, a former tourist flagship and notorious den of Cold War intrigue. During this era, every room was tapped and monitored by the KGB! The city has been influenced by Germany, Italy, Russia, and Scandinavia. Tallinn’s calendar is packed with festivals celebrating music, film, art, theater, culture, and food. Sea-faring festivals, the Opera Festival, and the Tallinn Marathon also feature prominently on the calendar. Explore this alluring city and take advantage of all there is to see and do during your stay. Take the bus tour to the old town and admire the 14th and 15th-century architecture and narrow, twisting streets. You can also try out the local cuisine at any of a number of restaurants here. This is a great day trip! everything ran smoothly. the ferry over is great, with Entertainment in the bar. I read that it could be really busy so we were there early to get a good spot, but it wasn't too bad, but it was February! The guide was waiting for us and took us to the bus that took us to the old town. such a pretty city and even in Feb we had beautiful blue skies. The guide was really knowledgeable and friendly. afterwards we had time to go for a meal before meeting the bus to go back to the ferry. would highly recommend.

We loved the bike tour! We thought the itinerary was excellent, showcasing some of the outer part sights of Tallinn and learning about its fascinating history! We were supplied with proper winter gloves (which helped since it was -9 degrees). Our guide Roland was very friendly, thoughtful, knowledgeable and perfect to tour the outskirts of Tallinn. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and would recommend definitely! Thank you!

Excellent tour and tour guide. Plenty of free time to explore the city and purchase souvenirs
