Visiting wadi rum is really cool - the landscape is beautiful and it was really peaceful out there, especially around sunset. The tour overall was good, but expect to stop often and do walking or rock climbing to access hidden canyons, viewpoints, or interesting features. We chose to spend the night in the desert and that was definitely worth it - the camp was comfortable, the food delicious, and the night sky was amazing.

Meeting point

The Wadi Rum Rest House is located in Wadi Rum Village, a 6 km drive from Wadi Rum Visitor Centre. Free parking is available beside the Rest House. Upon arrival at the Wadi Rum Visitor Centre, you will be required to show your Jordan Pass or pay 7 JD entrance fee. It won't be wrong since there is only one road that can be used. After visitor centre, keep driving down this road until you reach Wadi Rum Village. The location of the meet up is the Wadi Rum Rest House as indicated on the reservation maps. At Wadi Rum Rest House, our guide will be awaiting your arrival and will request the name that was provided on the reservation. If you arrive by Jett bus, you can get picked up for free at the Wadi Rum Visitor Centre at check in and check out, or Memories Aicha Luxury Camp for free. Any other local bus can go straight to the Wadi Rum Rest House without any problems. Please tell us when make reservation if you need to be picked up somewhere else, subject request.

Be advised that several touts may claim to provide free entry to the Wadi Rum protected region, such offers are fraudulent and often originate in Disah, take you into the other desert instead the unesco wadi rum. The official entry for Wadi Rum is 7 JOD, or free with Jordan Pass, no guide can include this.
