A very cool experience. We had the 1pm tour with "Spongebob", few people could spell his real name. He took his time, explained everything independently and answered every question we had. We had sooo much time in two ice caves (usually together, but too much water in the passage) that other groups even "overtook" us. But "Spongebob" didn't let himself be stressed. According to him, the caves we saw will be gone in 2-3 months. So everyone has a new experience and it's hard to say in advance how good it is. The jeep tour is not necessarily for people with a weak stomach. At the meeting point there was a souvenir shop with snacks and drinks, toilets and 2 food trucks (don't know if they are always there.) I would recommend again at any time. Especially "Spongebob" :D

We arrived at the meeting place with a warm welcome, the Monster Truck Crossover Jeep transfer is an attraction on its own! In a group of 13. We were able to walk on the glacier with lent crampons and then everyone went in turn to see the caves, we stayed in them for a few minutes.

Great experience despite the number of groups at the Ice Cave, knowledgeable and helpful guide and safe driver - especially over the rough tracks! One thing to note on this tour, there is a 4km round trip walking on rough paths - no issue for us but our group was slowed down by some members who weren't fit enough for this part - need to perhaps make this more explicit in the guidance ?
