We had an excellent trip! The tour guide was funny and provide plentiful free time to explore the Ice Cave after we arrived. The van ride there was quite bumpy and the hike from the van to the cave was about 20-30 min so just keep those factors in mind when planning. Highly recommend!

This is one of the "MUST SEE" activities. Expensive, but what in Iceland is not. It is a hit or a miss depending on the weather and the condition of the icecave. It was a HIT for us. The caves were beautiful, we did not feel rushed and our tour guide was well informed. There are a lot of tours going on at the same time, but the guides do a good job in making your group feel that they have enough changes to get pictures with minimal people in the background. Highly reccomend.
