It was an amazing experience. Better than we expected. The hosts took care of us and we had a great time there. The three days were very intensive, with lots of travel time. However, in the short time you are there they try to pack as much in as possible for your benefit with morning and late night safaris. The rangers are all very knowledgeable and do their absolute best to find the animals that roam free. They cooperate with locals and other rangers to find animals that like to hide away. Food and bathroom breaks are well-spaced, and they can accommodate for dietary needs. All staff is friendly and accommodating.
We saw a lot of wild animals and almost all of the big five! The guides were very nice and funny and the food was also great. Our lodge had more space than we expected and was generally in a great condition. The only thing to note is that the mosquito net had a few holes. Luckily, we brought our own to stay free from mosquito bites without applying repellent over night. Great experience and many thanks to Viva Safari!

Go on a Sunset Game Drive
Begin Your African Bush Adventure
Get picked up from your hotel in Johannesburg or O.R. Tambo Airport and travel via the Highveld grasslands to Tremisana Game Lodge in Kruger Park National Park.
Go on a Sunset Game Drive
Board an open Land Cruiser for a 4-hour Sunset Drive, your first opportunity to experience the fauna and flora of Africa. Watch the magnificent African sunset and, after dark, use a spotlight to view nocturnal animals.
Experience a Bush BBQ
Have a delicious Bush BBQ at the Marula Tree Boma. After dinner, continue with your Night Drive and make your way back to the lodge.

Important information
Know before you go
- You can choose to be picked up from either O.R. Tambo International Airport or your hotel in Johannesburg.
- All pickup transfers depart no later than 9:30 AM, so flights should be booked accordingly. Allowance needs to be made for disembarking and customs checks to meet your driver on time.
- Drop-off at the airport will be by 5 PM on the final day. Allowance needs to be made for check-in and boarding, please bear this in mind when booking flights.
- Lunches are not included. There will be stops at rest camps where lunch is available for purchase.
- Drinks are available for purchase from a cash bar at the lodge.
