Full description

On this half-day tour, your tour guide will collect you from your accommodations in Johannesburg and take the Lion Park, a natural habitat located not far outside of Johannesburg.  Upon arrival at the Lion Park, you will enjoy 1-hour open vehicle safari drive where you will have the opportunity to view these wonderful animals up close and personal. You will then be driven back to your accommodations in Johannesburg.

Para quem já fez aqueles passeios em áreas de preservação enormes como, por exemplo, Hluhluwe–iMfolozi Park essa visita no Lion Park é quase uma passeio a um zoológico. Mesmo compreendendo que são passeios e propostas diferentes eu achava que o espaço destinado aos animais seria maior - especialmente os destinados aos leopardos e às hienas. Apesar disso, o pessoal do parque demonstra muita atenção e cuidado com os animais - que estão, a propósito, muito bem tratados. O que o parque se propõe a entregar, ele entrega: a experiência de estarmos pertinho dos leões. O guia que nos acompanhou foi muito didático e prestativo.

Due to COVID we could not pet the lion cubs, we did however enjoy the park. Our 4 year old and 1 year old were very interested and enjoyed riding in the safari bus. Our driver Nick was very helpful and an excellent navigator. We would recommend this tour if you want to get up close and personal with some of the animals at the park. The Lions came right up to the bus!
