Upon arrival, we had to ask around to find out whom to check in with. (No vehicle or person was wearing the name of the company.) We climbed into the super jeep and were off to the ice cave. The drive included a bit of road travel and much off road rocky terrain. I learned about deflating tires to make a more comfortable experience. Upon arrival to the 'parking lot' there was a rather large hike across rocky terrain to the cave (I was not expecting this). Once we crossed the rocks we arrived at the edge of the glacier where the ice cave was. We were given some time to walk around the ice cave but was quickly moved out so another group could come in. Then on to the walk and ride back to the lagoon. The tour guide was nice and informative. I wish had known how little time would be spent in the cave and the hiking necessary. With the 'super jeep' I assumed there would be more driving. No matter what, I'd still recommend, the glaciers are melting and will be gone soon.

A sight to see. They picked us up from the parking lot of the lagoon and took us to a point from which we walked about 20-30 'to the ice cave. The hike is pretty straightforward. There was plenty of time to take a thousand photos in the cave. Spectacular

The whole tour is an adventure. To get there you are transported by super-jeep closure to glacier. The road is not really the road but it is extremely funny. The guide was local, so ut was more interesting to get more information about the life of local people. We highly recommend you to visit. It is worth of money - the whole tour took us close to 4 hours and most of the time you are spending in the glacier.
