Pickup included: As part of this package we will collect you from the Jodhpur Railway Station, Bus Station or Airport. If you are staying in a Guest House/Hotel in the main city we can collect you from there. If you are staying in the Old City of Jodhpur we can collect you from the Clock Tower due to the narrow streets. Drop off at the end of the stay is also included to the same place you were collected from. Please contact us if you need any help working out a drop off/pick up location.

We had a brilliant time with Sumer and his family. They welcomed us into their home with open arms. It was great to see the work they are doing with educating the local children and sleeping under the stars was magical. They cooked us a wonderful meal, we taught them a card game and we had a beautiful evening with them. Couldn't recommend this incredibly authentic experience more!

Our time here was fantastic, it was so well organised and we loved every minute. Sumer and his family were so friendly and looked after us so well. We were welcomed into a family. Not only were the experiences on the itinerary fantastic (sleeping under the stars is a must!) but Sumer went above and beyond to organise a taxi for us from Jaipur, extra activities when we arrived early, and anything else we could possibly need which made our experience smooth and easy. On top of this, Sumar works tirelessly in the community to help children in the village who have no access to education to learn English and skills they need to find work in the new world, in a village where education is not understood and life is difficult. Sumar's passion for helping people around him is inspiring, and being a small part of this was wonderful. Sumer uses the money from the homestay to fund his family, the education and to help the wider community selflessly. I am so pleased we chose this stay.

Namaste! Welcome to our desert family homestay. We're thrilled about your interest in our experience, eager to create lasting memories with you.

Your journey unfolds with a 2:30-3:00 pm pick-up in Jodhpur. Picture this: our private car, waiting at your chosen location, be it your hotel, airport, train station, or bus station. Our first stop is Osian, a place of spiritual richness housing the Sachiya Mata Temple—one of the many jewels in our culturally vibrant region.

Beyond the temple's magnificence, our path leads to a sacred space—our ancestral home in a 500-year-old rural village on the fringes of the Thar Desert. Expect a warm embrace of traditional Rajasthani hospitality as you step into our family abode. The luxury of time awaits; take a leisurely stroll, drink Tea in the surroundings, and witness the sunset descent from a viewpoint nearby. As dusk settles, partake in the preparation of a traditional Rajasthani meal. The open wood fire invites you to join the culinary festivities, sharing moments and flavors with our family. As night unfolds, choose between the comfort of our traditional mud huts or the allure of sleeping beneath a star-lit desert sky.

Awaken to the enchanting dawn of the Thar desert. Engage in a 40-70 minute sunrise camel ride, a journey through the wilderness that unveils the desert's beauty bathed in the soft morning light chance for Mani wildlife animal and Bird, deer, ghazal, desert gray fox, desert wild cat. Post-adventure, a hearty breakfast awaits before we embark on a private car journey back to Jodhpur, targeting an arrival around 11-11:30 am.
