Maria was very knowledgeable and engaging. She wove in the history, political influences, religious tides, and local stories as we walked about in the Jewish quarter. From abandoned synagogues to women’s college dating back to the 1910’s to libraries to rabbinical residences to a hidden synagogue now a residence, culminating in the beautiful current synagogue and museum, there was nothing I could ask that she didn’t know about in depth. Topped off with a tour of the archaeological museum, it was a great tour.

Marianna was wonderful. We connected immediately. She was knowledgeable especially about the past history of the Jewish community of Rhodes. She also gave us a recommendation for the best gelato around the market. What a gem!! Thank you for a memorable experience. Ronni and Stan

Really enjoyed the tour - thanks Nikos. The synagogue is beutiful, and the museum nicely set out for a small museum. Some moving stories.
