You will meet your guide, the night watchman, in front of the baroque Palace church. Together you will explore the area around Mannheim's baroque palace. Against the backdrop of historic buildings such as the old observatory or the armoury, join the night watchman for a chat about Mannheim’s development into a residence for the Palatinate Electors and the culture, society and religion that developed there throughout the 17th and 18th centuries. Listen as he reveals anecdotes about life at court, the changes to the city from one era to the next, and the not always honest goings on that he witnesses as he makes his rounds through Mannheim’s night-time streets. During the tour you will pass by several historical buildings and places such as the baroque palace church, the old observatory, the Jesuite church and Schillerplatz. Day 1: The journey starts with a scenic drive through the beautiful countryside and along the Lake of the Four Cantons to Weggis. Here you will board the aerial cable car to Rigi Kaltbad where you will board Europe‘s first ever mountain railway up to Rigi-Kulm (6000ft / 1800m). Enjoy the panoramic views over the Swiss-Midland, the Alps and the 13 lakes around you. Hike one of the well prepared trails and enjoy the beauty of this unique scenery. In the afternoon check in at Rigi Kaltbad. Spoil yourself in the new mineral bath and spa designed by famous Swiss architect Mario Botta. Dive into the revitalizing, mineral-rich waters (35°C) of the indoor and outdoor pools and enjoy the unforgettable, breathtaking mountain panorama. Further offers include a whirlpool, herbal sauna, steam bath and a spectacular crystal spa bath (admittance for adults only). In the evening culinary delights await you in the restaurant SunSet where a 4-course selection dinner is included. Day 2: The mineral bath opens exclusively for hotel guests at 9:00 AM. Around mid-day, you take the cog-wheel train down to Vitznau where you board the boat for a lovely one-hour cruise to Lucerne. Discover the charming old town and see the famous Chapel Bridge, the Jesuit Church, the town hall and the modern Culture and Convention Center.  The tour is accompanied by a professional, multi-lingual guide from Zürich to Weggis and from Lucerne to Zürich. Day 1: Mt Pilatus Set out on a scenic coach journey through stunning countryside and along the shores of Lake Lucerne to the charming town of Lucerne. Enjoy spectacular sights of the glacier's deep crevasses and gigantic ice boulders on a breathtaking journey with the revolving Rotair cable car. At the top of Mt Titlis at 3,000 m a.s.l., a high alpine world of snow and ice awaits you all year round. Enjoy a magnificent view of the Swiss Alps from the panoramic terrace, visit the Glacier Cave, venture across the Cliff Walk, Europe’s highest suspension bridge, and take a ride with the Ice Flyer chair lift down to the Glacier Park! Descend to Engelberg by aerial cable cars and journey back to Lucerne for your second overnight stay in this picture-postcard town. Day 3: Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe Enjoy a rich buffet breakfast at your hotel and meet today’s tour guide before making your way through splendid Swiss countryside to the Bernese Oberland. After a short stop in the picturesque village of Interlaken, continue to Grindelwald Terminal, where you board the Eiger Express cable car for a breathtaking journey below the Eiger North Face. Change for a ride with the cogwheel railway to the summitof the Jungfraujoch and immerse yourself in a fascinating alpine world of eternal snow and ice. Enjoy around time at leisure to discover the summit attractions individually.
