Join this unique tour that takes you from Jerusalem all the way to the Northern West Bank, traveling through a Samaritan village on Mount Gerizim to the ancient city of Nablus, and continuing to the Jenin refugee camp.
What to Expect
This unique tour leaves from Jerusalem in the morning, traveling north to a Samaritan village on the shoulders of Mount Gerizim. Visit the ancient Samaritan temple of the village, and hear about the captivating history of the Samaritan people.
Just a short drive away, you will stop to visit Jacob's well and Tel Balata, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with a deep history.
Next, head over to the Palestinian city of Nablus to explore its ancient Old City, stopping to taste the Khafeh for which Nablus is renowned for the world over. Wander through its various spice shops, soap factories, and Turkish Hamams (traditional baths).
Enjoy lunch at the Zababdeh village with a local family before departing for your final stop, Jenin. Home to one of the largest refugee camps in the West Bank, where half of the population are children, this place will provide an insight into life for many Palestinians on a day to day basis.
Then you'll begin the short trip back to Jerusalem, arriving in the early evening.
