Massada is a very beautiful place that is worth the visit. However, we climbed the difficult and tiring trail, about 50 min. If you can, I suggest going by cable car. Ein gedi is kind of a tourist, I didn't like it, besides that they provide little time, so you can't visit right. I suggest staying on the bus and not spending the ticket money. Dead sea is pretty cool, the beach itself is ugly, but I really enjoyed this experience. Here we had two hours to enjoy. The tours have no guide, no explanation, just a grumpy driver. If you pay attention to the times, the driver is very strict and those who do not arrive at the scheduled time are behind.

The departure was at 3 o'clock sharp, the hostess very nice and she even spoke French. After 20 minutes of road we stopped 40 minutes in a gas station to drink and eat something. This first stop is not mandatory. Arrival in Masada and we had to wait 40 minutes before getting on. The departure could have been at 4am in Jerusalem instead of 3h. The rise of night is magnificent and the arrival at the summit grandiose. The bus leaves at 8h towards the nature reserve. We saw several animals. We had 1 hour to visit the reserve, which is quite short. Then departure to the Dead Sea where we stay 1:30.

Magic hike

Admittedly, getting up is hard, but the hike is magnificent, and the Dead Sea experience extraordinary (Even if two hours is not enough if you want to be able to eat a little, enjoy it, then shower and change ...)
