First Circle is located near downtown, and the series extends westward through Eighth Circle. A close second to Petra on the list of favorite destinations in Jordan is the ancient city of Jerash, which boasts an unbroken chain of human occupation dating back more than 6,500 years. Jerash lies on a plain surrounded by hilly wooded areas and fertile basins. Conquered by General Pompey in 63 BC, it came under Roman rule and was one of the ten great Roman cities of the Decapolis League. Its 2km south of the main resort strip, is run by Amman municipality to give affordable access to the Dead Sea. The grounds are attractively landscaped and the beach is clean, with sun umbrellas, freshwater showers and a vibrant local flavor, making it a great place to strike up conversation with a Jordanian family. There are also a number of swimming pools, a restaurant (JD 10 buffet), some drinks stalls, basketball courts and an amusement park next door. We have the best tour guide, Abdullah, we could imagine for this type of experience. He was very supportive, informative and patient. In the 2 days we learned so much going right back into history and then relating to the present locations, absolutely amazing. The locations were as listing in the itinerary and enough time was spent for each stop. The Bedouin camp was a bit of a culture shock and maybe a bit more information about this accommodation and the options available should be provided. Despite this the camp was beautiful and very clean, just a pity we arrived in the dark and left early in the manning also in the dark, winter hours. Thanks to our tour guide everything turned out well. The highlight of Petra was amazing with our tour guide doing an absolutely brilliant job of explaining all the details before we reached the main ruins.

Had an absolutely fantastic day with a local legend - Mohammed Olyan. He is an amazing and knowledgeable guy who answered all my questions and tailored my day in Amman/Jerash/Dead Sea to suit my interests perfectly. Would highly recommend booking. Jerash is a must see- truly an incredible place

Apart from border crossing first time (politics meants guides couldnt be there for it) experience was amazing, and well worth the money spent, factoring in 4 great buffet meals of high and healthy varied standard, great accomodation, good tourist spots and not having to worry about timetable.

Our driver was amazing! Very helpful with location information and waited for us patiently as we really took our time at each site we visited.

This has been an Awesome experience. The hospitality of the Bedouin’s and the Beauty of Petra is wonderful.
