I had a truly wonderful tour in Agra, visiting the iconic Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. The experience was seamless, thanks to Mani, who diligently drove me safely back and forth from Jaipur to Agra. His professionalism and safe driving made the long journey comfortable and stress-free. Navrah, my tour guide, was exceptional. His patience and, most importantly, his passion for explaining the history and significance of the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort made the experience incredibly enriching. I gained a much deeper understanding of India’s history and culture because of his insights. As an added bonus, I was fortunate to try the local delicacy, “bedai,” which was absolutely delicious and a highlight of the trip! Overall, I would rate this experience beyond five stars for the outstanding quality of service and professionalism provided. Mani and Navrah, thank you for showing me the beauty and culture of Agra—it was an unforgettable journey!

Full description

Tour begins with the pickup from Hotel/Airport or desired location in Jaipur, you’ll head out of the city and towards the east by air-conditioned vehicle. Along the four-hour journey, you’ll stop for a comfort break. Having arrived in Agra around 10:00 am, meet with the tour guide and proceed to one of the most famous monuments in India, The Taj Mahal. It is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Hear all about its history as you explore the beautiful historical site. Take your time to click the pictures of the beautiful monument. Later, you’ll head to a buffet Lunch at 5 Star Hotel and enjoy a mouth-watering meal of local and international flavor. After that, head to Agra Fort, built under emperor Akbar in 1565 to protect the then-capital of India. Considered one of the biggest and most luxurious fortresses in the country, Agra Fort also offers incredible views of the Taj Mahal. Finally, depart back for Jaipur and drop you at your hotel or desired location in Jaipur. Tour ends with lots of memories.

Very good experience overall - I really enjoyed it and it is good value for money. The tour guide is REALLY handy to have because it’s not straight forward entry like European attractions. Lots of little rules and they’re able to get you through the lines very quickly. My guide was Mobin Shah and he was 10/10 - very knowledgeable and very committed. My only issue was the car - not really air conditioned, the driver was 25 mins late (which at 02:30am feels much worse) and there was no seatbelt in the back. I would normally mark the review down for this but I feel like it’s a new venture and perhaps a teething issue to get right. Tip: don’t get scammed by the photographers at the Taj Mahal. My photographer tried to charge 100r for 1 photo and then proceeded to take 80 photos so wanted £80. I said £40 as I thought it was fair but tbh you probably should be paying around £25 max. You do get a photo album and all the digital copies and they know the best spots and get you done quickly.
