After making your way to the meeting point, depart Quebec City and drive for approximately 1 hour to the national park. Then, start your hike with a professional guide around 30 minutes after arrival. By the edge of a river or in the heart of a forest, the trail will take you gradually to a viewpoint to observe the valley of the national park. During the hike, enjoy several breaks to taste food and drinks from the surrounding region. Halfway through the hike, stop for lunch. After lunch, your guide will lead you back through the forest to the park entrance where the bus will be waiting to transport you back to Quebec City. You’ll meet your experienced guide at your hotel hall where you will take the bus for the park. After 30min, you will be in the main lodge where you bring your ski and trekking poles and simple-to-follow techniques to get you out on the trail. Once you’re ready, strap on your ski and follow your guide along quiet trails, experiencing winter beauty. You will have plenty of opportunities to stop for photos and rest breaks. Wildlife can be easier to spot in the winter landscape. Throughout your hike, your guide will keep an eye out for signs of deer, moose, squirrel, porcupine and other creatures that inhabit the area.
