Full description
The adventure begins with hotel pickup in Merida, where you will be taken in an air-conditioned coach to Izamal, one of Mexico’s oldest colonial cities and home to the vibrant convent of Izamal and its 75 yellow arches.

Built on Mayan pyramids using the same stones, this is the site where Fray Diego de Landa burned thousand of Mayan scripts. Feel the energy of that magic that could not be destroyed and still lives on to this day.

Visit the pyramids around which the city is built, Kinich Kakmo, the Rabbit, Kabul, and Izamatul, and take in the mixture of Mayan and Spanish culture in this 8-hour tour.
