On this walking tour of the historic center of this colonial city, you'll discover places such as the convent of San Antonio de Padua, the symbol of Izamal, or the statue of Pope John Paul II, dedicated to the pontiff for his visit to Izamal in 1993. Afterward, you will stop at a local restaurant, where you will have free time to taste the gastronomy of the Yucatan region. Once you've enjoyed some free time, return back to Merida and get dropped off at your hotel, if the hotel option is selected.
