Full description

First, explore Milan’s culinary scene by visiting the city’s

bottegas (shops) which are stocked full of fresh produce and local specialties. Led by your expert chef, browse the stores and learn about local cuisine. Liaise with vendors, butchers, and bakers as you pick out the tastiest ingredients to prepare your meal. With your groceries in hand, take a short walk to the cooking school, a brand-new facility in the heart of the city. Put on your apron and follow the chef's instructions in order to create exquisite traditional dishes. Learn how to create dishes such as cheese fondue, ragout, fresh hand-rolled pasta, and dessert. Measure, mince, mix, season, and stir to create authentic Milanese cuisine.  Take a break to savor a selection of premium wines and local cheeses. Once everything is ready, sit down with a glass of wine and enjoy your culinary creations. At the end of the experience, you will receive an attendance certificate and a recipe booklet so you can share the recipes you learned with your friends and family at home.

Towns of Italy Cooking School & Tourist Hub is located at the first floor. Kindly note that every customer is requested to be at the meeting point 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of the cooking class. Latecomers will not have the opportunity to participate in the activity, and refunds will not be granted. This is to ensure respect for all other participants.

It was such a fun and enlightening cooking class. Chef Francesco was fantastic. He was very patient with the group and gave us so many tips on Italian cooking. He was so gracious in answering all our questions. He allowed us to do hands on cooking which I really liked but he also showed us how to cook the Italian dishes properly by demonstrating each step clearly. The cooking class was conveniently located at the Milan Centrale Market. The place is well appointed and very comfortable. The class size was just right… 10 student and everyone got a chance to do hands on cooking. It was a great “souvenir” to have on this Italian trip. I highly recommend the class.

We had a wonderful time in the cooking class. We made tiramisu, pumpkin ravioli & saffron risotto. The chef was patient and a good teacher. We can definitely replicate these recipes at home. There were 9 of us in the class- a couple from Scotland, a couple from Israel & one local. Very enjoyable.
