Full description
Join a popular walk along the European shore of the Bosphorus. Learn about the towns that dot the shore between Arnavutkoy and Rumelihisari. Stroll along the seaside through local communities that were once fishing villages with sleepy monasteries.
See Rumelihisari, where the fine fortifications guard the Bosphorus’s narrowest spot in the shadow of the Fatih Bridge. Spot the wooden mansions that belonged to Ottoman royals or officials, as well as the Art Nouveau houses at Arnavutköy.
Take a break in Bebek, the heart of the Bosphorus Riviera, and maybe sample the famous marzipan whilst on the waterfront. Watch the fishermen of Arnavutkoy hard at work and feel the breeze as ships of various sizes pass by.
Take the Bosphorus ferry from Arnavutkoy to Eminonu and enjoy the unrivaled views of the skyline of the city from the boat.
