Layla was our fantastic host for the tour. She was very knowledgable and helpful. The tour consisted of a group of 8 people, made up of people from Scotland (us) plus Ireland, America and Australia. The food throughout was excellent and a really authentic insight into Turkish traditions. Would highly recommend.

This is the best tour I’ve ever been on and I’m a heavy user and an avid traveler. The guide took is trough a historical culinary adventure that not only delighted the senses but also showed us hidden gems that tied to the culture and customs of the people all over Istanbul. By the end my palate was not only blown away but I also felt like I understood the people better. It was truly amazing.

It was a very interesting and enjoyable tour for foodies. During the whole tour I really enjoyed all of the food and interesting story behind it. We ate at a diner where the Iskander kebab was invented and strolled through the spice bazaar. I have no bad memories about this tour. Overall, absolutely fantastic, just make sure not to have breakfast.
