The most amazing tour of the city with the most amazing guide! Was able to see many beautiful parts of the city that I wouldn’t not have known about myself! The most kind and considerate guide also!! Was super scared to go on the Segway but he was so patient and we didn’t leave until I felt ready😭🥰! Also he did a great job of teaching us how to use segways in like 5 minutes it became second nature!!! I would recommend this tour to everyone if I could! My boyfriend absolutely loved it and was in awe of how knowledgable and honest our guide was. Thank you!

It was a really great tour. The segway was easy to handle and get a hang of. This activity is an amazing way of seeing the streets and sights of Istanbul while having an excellent tour guide along the way. Our tour guide was patient, very knowledgeable and could speak perfect English which made it easy to follow the dense history of the city. Highly recommend this as an introduction tour of Istanbul.

Full description

The Old City Tour covers best points of interest within Istanbul. It begins at Sultanahmet, from there it goes throughout Hippodrome Square, which has witnessed gladiator fights, chariot/car races and many riots. Then you head to the Sultanahmet Mosque also known as Blue Mosque. Right after seeing the primary residence of Ottoman Sultans Topkapi Palace, you will continue to the Hagia Sophia, as known as Church of Holy Wisdom, which is richly and artistically decorated by Byzantine Emperor Justinian. We will stop in Gulhane Park, which is the oldest and largest urban park in Istanbul, and we will take a break. Then we will move throughout Constantine's Column (Cemberlitas), one of the most prominent examples of Roman art before arriving at Beyazıt Square and Mosque. Then we will visit Şehzade Mosque, which is considered by architectural historians as Sinan's first masterpiece. Right after seeing famous Bozdoğan Aqueduct, we will continue to the largest mosque of Istanbul Suleymaniye Mosque, the mosque of Sultan Süleyman the magnificent. Tour will finish at meeting point.

This tour was AMAZING!! I did this tour with my husband & sister friend & this was THE BEST WAY TO TOUR TO LEARN ALL OF THE HISTORY OF TURKIYE. Tarik was helpful from beginning to end. I had issues booking, and he was with me every step of the way to ensure we got booked. I don't think I could have done a walking tour. I would have been over it within 10 mins. Book this Segway tour, and you will thank me later.😂 Especially when you are rolling up & down the hills while everyone else is walking by. Tarik gave a safety lesson, and we were off within 10 mins like pros. Tarik is VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT THE HISTORY OF ISTANBUL. After our lesson, Tarik referred us to an AWESOME place for lunch, my husband I are both firefighters, and he helped with our visit to the fire station. Tarik referred us to the experience of lifetime Turkish bath. I am glad that my first time was @ luxury place. Tarik treat you like he has been knowing you FOREVER. BOOK AND I PROMISE YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED
