This is a spectacular site to see, at the crossroads of Byzantine Christianity and Islam. I saw this site for the first time 30 years ago. Fortunately, we were able to visit the main floor. Now, however, the main floor is restricted to Muslims only. This is not a bad thing. Hagia Sofia is now more functional for the Islamic faith and we non-Muslims can still view the main floor from the upper floor and are also able to see the amazing Christian icons that remain. It is a beautifully restored and maintained site.

Fast and easy transaction online. However, it’s not necessary to provide audio guide in Hagia Sophia as it’s already provided in there, just a scan away. Hopefully, the price will be cheaper without the audio guide.
