Excellent one hour tour. You move quickly through the administration section of the palace but cannot take photos. Much less crowded and more enjoyable than Topkapi Palace, in my opinion, which was over crowded, everyone pushing and shoving. After the guided tour is over you can stay as long as you like and view the Harem and painting gallery too.

Everything was as written in the description, our guide was nice and explained everything. The whole thing started on time and lasted for around an hour and a half after which we explored by ourselves. We went on a friday which was great because there werent too many people and we passed security quickly.

Our guide was terrific. He was well educated and spoke clearly, telling us just the right amount of detail and history to help us appreciate what we were seeing. He was receptive to questions, friendly and fun. We could have toured the palace on our own, but I believe we had a much richer experience there because of this guide.
