We booked our ticket well in advance, but that trip was canceled due to bad weather. I talked to the guy there and he called his boss and confirmed that they would accept the ticket at another time without any problems. So another two days later we managed to cruise the Bosphorus in better weather.

Hi,we traveled by metro from New instabul city(the grand mira business hotel) to old city to get to Pier,it is easy on mamary line(return).And about 5 min easy direction walk from Sikici station to find boat by bookstore.We travelled via Kapal station,a hour train ride.As most Turkish do not speak English,from our hotel this was easy to travel to and cost us 60 Lira,we loaded lira on our instabul card.With taxi,easy pay over 750 Lira.The trip is amazing,money worth,it was raining,as rain stopped we sat uncovered, as rain sat covered,got great pics.The coffee shop hottest and cheapest self service all types of coffee,20 lira per cup,sit outside undercover at entrance.waiting. great experience in Turkey,Instabul,easy to do on own with buying tickets before on this app in your country's currency to ensure ticket,no problems at ticket box,no line standing ,got helped immediately.Cheapest and easiest activity to do on own in Instabul for the over 40s,lol.Will highly recommend.

The person in the ticket counter wasn't to be found. I found him some distance away and recognised him as he was wearing a tag with the tour name. So the tour meeting place wasn't too clear due to this. The boat public address system was not too clear, but since we had visited all the monuments we didn't need the update on places of interest that we passed on the Bosphorus.
