A car-free island in the Marmara Sea

For a longer stay in Istanbul, a boat trip to the Prince Islands is recommended. You can get out of the hustle and bustle of the big city for a few hours. Because I was the only guest here (still in winter season), I was able to benefit particularly from the knowledge of the travel guide. During the trip he told "everything" about the Bosporus, the Sea of Marmara, his city and the Prince's Island. Büyükada was visited. There are no cars here, but horse-drawn cabs, very romantic. On a walk you can see churches, mosques and synagogues, signs of a time when religions harmonized well with one another. The visit to St. George's Church on the highest point of the island after a walk was particularly impressive. The icons there and the depiction of St. George as a dragon slayer are worth seeing.

the thing was ok for the price. The booking only includes the boat trip and lunch and a visit to a leather factory, which I saved myself. Otherwise you have 2 × 50 minutes at leisure on the island. poor

The boat trip was great, but the pick-up bus was late and we had to wait for almost 1 hour after the announced pick-up time. Nice food at the boat lunch, recommend it!

Good excursion as a change from the often very congested city center of Istanbul.

Everything was really nice.

Friendly and excellently done, we'd definitely do it again.
