Phenomenal tour by Faulkner/Mehmet (sorry I don’t remember the spelling). Above and beyond what we expected. Provided additional information via photos on his phone and engaged the entire group by asking about what we new and then building on that information. I wish he could be our tour guide everywhere

We arrived to the agreed meeting point, and the guide was easy to find. The guide spoke English well. As there were more than 60 people for the same timeslot, they showed up with 3 guides to split the group into three. We had to wait in the security line (there's no skipping this), that was the only nuisance.

Our particular guide was very enthusiastic and positive, as once we had entered Hagia Sophia the group was split into two and our group were able to hear and ask questions. The queue to get in took well over one and a half hours, not helped by the locals just pushing into the front of the queue and showing zero respect to tourists. However this was not something the Tour Guide company can control and the police who stood nearby showed no interest in demanding that the locals respect the queues. Once we got into Hagia Sophia we were rewarded for our patience, so my advice is to got give up and keep in the queue, it is well worth it!
