Excellent day trip. Although it's an early start, it's very well organised with plenty of breaks including on the bus journey from and back to Istanbul. The tour guide, Bulant, was very knowledgeable and also shared with us some pictures of the battlefields from during the war whilst explaining each of the sites we went to which helped bring it to life. Was totally worth the journey down from Istanbul especially as it's a very modern comfortable mini bus - only suggestion for improvement would be to switch the break location for the bus journey back as service from the restaurant was slow which delayed the trip back. Nonetheless, made it back to the accommodation in Istanbul by 10pm and it was an unforgettable day.

We joined the Crowded House Tour to Gallipoli- our guide Bulant was fantastic and very knowledgeable. The trip was long but not unmanageable- lots to see on the way and a stop for refreshments etc - lovely lunch supplied - the only thing was we felt abit pushed for time at the last stop being Chunukbair- there is a lot to see there with two monuments to view the Turkish and the New Zealanders but we had to be back to meet up with bus going back to Istanbul

Very interesting trip, found out a lot about Gallipoli. Our guide Bukam (sorry if spelt wrong!) was really entertaining and obviously very knowledgeable and passionate about the history of the area. Gave a very balanced account with lots of information. The trip from Istanbul is very long though, picked up about 6:30 and got back to hotel at 10pm. On the way there was quite a few breaks but was a really long journey back with traffic. I’d recommend doing the 2 day tour (with Troy and a hotel stay) if you have time just to balance the day out.
