We were lucky that even though it was cold it was a dry day for our visit. Couldn’t see all of the house as parts of it only open depending on where we are in the season - so, worth checking that out before you book. However, there is so much to see and do we’ll have to go back anyway! Which we want to do next time we are on the island. Definitely recommend a visit. Steeped in history and the wonderful love story that V and A shared. So 10/10!

We enjoyed our visit very much. We have wanted to visit for some time but we visited IOW in winter and it is not open at all times. This time we were lucky enough to be there at the weekend to get tickets and were delighted with our visit. The gardens were delightful and just as expected. The guide around the house itself was authentically dressed and was informative and interesting. I would recommend a visit for any age bracket.

An absolutely brilliant foraging walk! Joseph was so friendly and easy to get along with. He is full of interesting facts and very knowledgeable. He has inspired me to start cooking with some plants I never would have considered! We would love to come back to the Isle of Wight again and we will most certainly be booking on to another tour with him! Thank you Joseph :)

We had an excellent time, Joe is fantastic and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed ourselves and learned a lot. Even in January there are still plants which can be foraged, eye opening and exciting. Thanks for a great time!!

The Hovercraft crossing from Portsmouth to Ryde was seamlessly managed by staff and very efficient, we also did the return journey which was also hassle free.
