Join a full-day tour of La Paz to Titicaca Lake, visiting Copacabana and Yumani as well as Isla del Sol. Depart from La Paz on a fully guided day-trip that sails on Titicaca Lake and visits Copacabana and Yumani as well as Isla del Sol. Enjoy a tasty lunch and discover the famous Inca Steps and the Inca Fountain. Leave La Paz at around 7 am and after approximately 3 hours you will arrive at Tiquina, the narrowest part of the Lake Titicaca. Cross to the other side by boat and continue the trip on a 30-minute bus ride to the town of Copacabana. Once there, have lunch and then head towards the shore to catch a boat to the Isla del Sol, where you will see the Inca steps and the Inca fountain, also known as the youth fountain.  This Inca fountain represents the 3 pillars of the Aymara Culture, Ama Sua, Ama Llulla, and Ama Quella, which mean, you shall not steal, shall not lie, and shall not be lazy. Afterward, visit the town of Yumani and then start heading back to the port to catch the boat back to Copacabana. Once in Copacabana, explore the church, main square, and the crafts market. By 6 PM you will catch the bus back to La Paz, where you should arrive back in the city by 10 PM.

Depart from La Paz on a guided two-day trip that includes a boat journey on Lake Titicaca and visits to Copacabana, Yumani and Isla del Sol, where you will be spending the night. Enjoy the magnificent scenery of the cobalt blue lake and snow-sprinkled mountains as you explore the land of the Inca. The tour will depart La Paz early in the morning for Lake Titicaca. Your first stop will be at the Tiquina viewpoint, where you will get some stunning panoramic views of Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world at an elevation of 3,812 meters. Next, take a ferry across to Copacabana, the main Bolivian town on the shore of the lake that sits right beside the border with Peru. From here you’ll travel by speedboat to the Isla del Sol, considered by the Incas as the birthplace of their Sun God. In the afternoon, you’ll have time to explore Yumani, on the south coast of the island, and marvel at the Sol Pilko Kaina temple and the details of Inca architecture.  After spending the night on the island, you’ll have the next day free until 15.30, giving you plenty of time to visit the northern side of the island, home to the Golden Museum and the Inca Fountain of Youth. In the afternoon, you’ll take the boat back to Copacabana, where you’ll have time for dinner before catching the bus back to La Paz where you will arrive around 23.00.

We will cross Lake Titicaca until we reach the south side of the Isla del Sol, where we will visit the archaeological site of Pilkoken (Temple of the Sun). During the way to the Isla del Sol, we will go down the Umani stairs from the Inca era and, among other things, we will visit the Eternal Fountain of the Incas, where you can taste the holy water. - Finally, we will take the boat back to Copacabana, arriving at approximately 5:00 pm. Once back in Copacabana, we will have free time before taking the bus back to Puno, arriving at approximately 9:00 p.m. at the Puno terminal.

Following pick-up from your hotel in La Paz, journey to the village of Copacabana with a professional guide and enjoy a small local snack on arrival. Visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Copacabana, dedicated to the Virgen Morena. Meet regional artisans and learn about their local crafts. Then, make your way to Isla del Sol by private boat, where you will walk through the Inca Grand Staircase to see the Sacred Fountain, said to give eternal happiness. Break for lunch at an archaeological restaurant, and then visit the small handicraft market and ancestral places to discover more about the customs of the locals.

6:30 am Picked up from your hotel, travel by group bus along a paved road for 3 hours, in the middle of the Andes mountain range and enjoy Andean landscapes. Arrive at Copacabana Town and take a short break and enjoy a local lunch in one of the cozy restaurants. Cruise the highest navigable lake in the world by boat to Isla del Sol. The guide will come to pick you up at this place and we will cross the border and arrive at our destination around 11:00 am. Once there, we will take the walking tour contemplating the façade of the 17th century Basilica of the Virgin of Candelaria and discover why this city is an important pilgrimage site in that country. After visiting this wonderful place we will go to lunch that includes a chicken or trout dish. Later we will go to the port where a boat will be waiting for us that will take us to the nearby Isla del Sol. Upon disembarking we will begin a guided tour of approximately two hours, we will walk throughout the place and delve into the origins of the Inca culture, admiring the ancient sanctuaries. After our visit to Isla del Sol we will take the boat again to return to the city of Copacabana. You will board the bus to return and the mobility will leave you at the Puno land terminal at approximately 8:30 pm.

We will pick you up from an established location in Puno at 6:50 am, we will go by bus to the Bolivian city of Copacabana. We will cross the border and reach our destination around 11:00 am. Once there, we will take a walking tour contemplating the façade of the Basilica of the Virgin of Candelaria, from the 17th century, and discovering why this city is an important pilgrimage site in the country. Next, we will make a stop to regain strength with a meal that will include a chicken or trout dish and a drink. Afterwards, we will go to the port where a boat will be waiting for us that will take us to the nearby Isla del Sol. Enjoy the views of Lake Titicaca!
