Ischia Day Trip with Lunch from Naples
- Duration: 1 day
Spend the day on the lush green island of Ischia and escape the heat and hustle of Naples. Discover curiosities on every corner and marvel at the natural beauty of the sunken craters, rocky spikes and lava hills of the volcanic island. Catch the ferry from Naples and arrive at the port of Ischia, where you will enjoy an included lunch in a typical Italian restaurant. Use your free time to visit the Aragonese Castle, connected to the mainland by a bridge that has been rebuilt several times over the centuries, as it gets washed away by the sea all the time! Explore the chic village of Sant'Angelo, loved by the rich and famous who want to escape the crowds. Admire the colorful houses of the entirely pedestrianized – and hard to reach – area, and soak up the laid-back Mediterranean vibe of the narrow alleys, ice cream parlors, restaurants and bars with outdoor tables.
This full-day boat trip to Procida and Ischia begins with a pickup from your accommodation to the port of Piano di Sorrento. Aboard your boat and depart for Procida. Along the way have some sightseeing and admire the volcanic islet of Nisida, the distant Phlegraean Fields, and Cape Miseno from a distance. Arrive to Procida and spend an hour or two on the island. After spending time on Procida, head back to your boat and leave for Ischia. Take a cruise around the island and take in the views of the Aragonese Castle, Maronti Beach, the Cavascura spa, and the Bay of Sorgeto. Dock your boat and spend an hour or two touring the island. On the way back to Sorrento enjoy a limoncello tasting. Arrive at Piano di Sorrento and be taken back to your hotel. During this boat trip you will have opportunities to swim and snorkel.

The organizer agency deposited the vouchers for the ferry and lunch in our hotel. The change at the ticket office of the ferry company worked without problems. In the end, we didn't have lunch because we were traveling to another part of the island around noon and - if we had noticed this - would have created unnecessary stress. And who wants that on vacation? Next time we would only book a ferry. You can eat so tasty and reasonably priced.
You must plan to arrive early at the port to exchange tickets because the line is very long (45min-1h). Also, the boats are not at the same places in the port of Ischia according to the schedules. Otherwise the journey is very pleasant and the lunch perfect with a view of the sea.
From picking up the tickets to transporting them by ferry, everything was just right. The two women answered all of our questions and were super friendly. We would use this offer again at any time.
Really helpful service went above and beyond to ensure I had a good day!
The island is beautiful, it is worth going to see it
