Full description

Explore the Amazon on a 3-day guided tour. Take a trip on the river, meet a local tribe, and admire stunning jungle landscapes.

Day 1

After pickup from Iquitos airport, head straight to the Port of Nanay to board a boat. Sail to where the Nanay River meets the Amazon. Take a 2.5-hour trip along the Amazon River to the lodge where you will be staying.

Enjoy lunch and a chance to relax in the lodge's hammock room. Next, visit an eco-butterfly farm and a riverside eco-village. Return to the lodge for dinner before spotting tarantulas, snakes, insects, and birds on a night excursion.

Day 2

Get up early to watch the sunrise. Spot herons, eagles, parakeets, and exotic birds. Then, return to the lodge for breakfast and free time. After lunch, fish for piranhas and more. Enjoy the sunset, followed by dinner and traditional Amazonian tales back at the lodge.

Day 3

After breakfast, set off on a botanical plant walk and search for lianas. Enjoy lunch at the lodge before checking out and heading back to Iquitos. From there, be transferred to your hotel or the airport by motorcycle taxi.

Being that we were in the Amazon Jungle accommodations were great. Guide was knowledgeable & always helpful. I am not a picky eater so, I thought the food was great & plentiful. It was truly an unforgettable adventure. The tribes, monkey island, butterfly garden and getting to meet the locals was a wonderful experience + we did get a glimpse of dolphins…. Come prepared and you shall be fine!

I loved everything about this tour: itbwas well organised, the lodge was surprisingly confrtable, i learnt a lot about local plants and animals, and enjoyed the veryvtasty and healthy communal meals. I was particulsrly pleased with our guide Miguel who was very attentionate and knowledgable about plants and the river and is a very good guide and communicator. I spent a memorable time on this tpur, met fantastic people, saw a lot of wildlife both during the day at night. I totally recommend this tour to everyone who would want to bathe in the river andhug a sloth yet would like to have good meals at set times, a private room with a good shower, and working internet.

Una experiencia increíblemente genial. Fueron días de aventuras. Desde pesca de pirañas hasta un recorrido nocturno por el bosque. Mi guía fue genial y muy agradable. Sabía mucho y tenía ojos de águila. Pude ver todo y estuve en muy buenas manos en el albergue. Había buena comida y bonitas habitaciones con mosquiteros.
