Outstanding Guide, Unforgettable Experience! What was originally planned as a tour to the Isle of Skye turned into a visit to Glenfinnan—and what a brilliant decision that turned out to be! Our guide, Will (though I feel he should be officially titled “Full-Time Historian”), made the entire 12-hour journey feel like it flew by. His deep knowledge of Scottish history and the Highlands brought every stop to life, turning each moment into an enriching experience. From ancient legends to cultural insights, Will switched into historian mode effortlessly—and just when you thought it couldn’t get better, he’d crack a perfectly timed joke that had the whole bus laughing. His timing was spot-on—whether syncing with the steam train schedule or choosing the most breathtaking landscapes to stop at, every part of the trip felt thoughtful and seamless. Massive kudos to Timberbush for finding such a rare gem. I can only hope my next adventure is also with Will. This tour was our family’s best.
Out of all the tours I did for my first time in Scotland this one WINS IT ALL ! I had a blast and so much fun with my group and our tour guide Chris Allan. Like many people I can on this tour just for the Glenfinnan Viaduc, but "thanfkfully" the Jacobite Steam Train wasn't on so it was SO less crowed and we really were able to take our time. And since my attention wasn't on the train and trying to take the picture pictures among THOUSAND of people I truly appreciated the beauty of Scotland that day. The gorse flowers were in bloom so all the mountains were yellow, the sky was blue without a single cloud and it reflected on the different locks. Thank again to Chris for taking us to such pretty places. 12/10 would recommended!!!
