Full description

Cruise on Loch Ness and visit Urquhart Castle on this coach and boat tour that transports you directly from Inverness city center to the legendary Loch Ness. You’ll learn everything there is to know about the stirring past of these famous shores as you relax on a guided coach tour. After departing from Inverness by coach, you will drive to Loch Ness. Once you arrive, hop on board a boat to cruise across the Loch’s world-famous waters. Keep an eye on the sonars for a blip that could be Nessie. There is a fully stocked bar on board and a selection of Scottish snacks. Coffee, tea, and hot chocolate are also served, should you require a little warming up. Disembark and explore the historic ruins of Urquhart Castle. After you have seen the castle, relax on the coach as you make the return sightseeing drive to Inverness bus station, through beautiful Highlands countryside.

Activity was great. Linda, our guide, was funny and very knowledgeable. We had a slight set back on the return trip, where our bus broke down, but Linda was very professional and helped us find other activities in the area to fill our time while we waited for a new bus. Overall, very good value for the trip. Touring Urquhart was fantastic and very interesting.

Really excellent activity.Really lovely guide who was very knowledgeable.Very enjoyable boat trip and visit to castle. If I have one niggle it’s that we would have loved more time at the castle.

"I really liked our driver/guide. The boat trip was a little long but the view was beautiful; i just wish the boat was a little faster 😉 I misread the description and thought the entry ticket for the castle wasn't included, so I didn't go inside; my bad 🤦‍♀️ I took some pretty pictures from the outisde though !"
