Full description

Depart from a central meeting point in Inverness, where you will meet your guide and board the mini-bus. First, stop at Eilean Donan Castle and take plenty of photos as you admire the majestic beauty of this iconic sight in its wonderful coastal location.

Upon arrival in Portree, make your way to the harbor viewpoint where you can see the pretty pastel-colored houses. Enjoy a short stop here, where you can also purchase a light lunch. Next, stop at a loch-side viewpoint, and discover the unique rock formation of the Old Man of Storr. See the 50-meter high pinnacle that juts out from the Trotternish Ridge and is recognizable from blockbuster films including Ronin 47, Snow White & The Huntsman, Prometheus, and The BFG.

Continue to the Fairy Pools, a series of crystal clear waterfalls and pools surrounded by the stunning backdrop of the Cuillin Mountain. Finally, stop for some photos of Urquhart Castle and Loch Ness. Admire the sight of the castle on a distinctive peninsula jutting out onto the mysterious Loch Ness, before heading back to Inverness.

A great tour with such a stunning scenery. Weather wasn’t too bad at all, but be aware you need to have adequate clothing and shoes especially for rain which is on and off in Scotland. Our tour guide, Andrew was very helpful and kept us entertained the whole trip. One of the best guided tours we’ve been on. Fairy pools is quite a walk but been given exactly the right amount of time to go up and back and the view was incredible. Amazing pictures taken during this trip. Definitely not to miss if you want to see the highlands and you have a spare day as it’s quite a lengthy tour 12 hours. Lovely day highly recommend

Our guide, Andrew was amazing! Offered us a perfect tour, even if the situation was rather special: The Queen's Fuberal, so everything was closed on this special day. He dis make sure we had food and drink available, before we left. On the trip, we had lots of amazing photo stops and the Fairy Pools short hike was perfect! Thanks a lot, Andrew for the experience and last, but not least, for the stories!

The views are breathtaking! You can't do much better than the Scottish Highlands in that regard. The bus was nice and everything went well. The guide was charismatic and fun, though he sometimes lost track of the story he was telling. But given some of the roads we go through, you can't really blame the guy!
