Excellent activity - frozen dome was a great way to experience (for a few moments) the freezing conditions. The information and displays were comprehensive - almost too much but not in a bad way. The penguins and huskies were gorgeous- and the penguins are rescued penguins who would survive in the wild. Well worth the time and value for money.

Was a distance away from the city centre but easy to get to using the no.8 bus from the interchange and at $4 A ticket was a bargain. You can also reuse the bus ticket if used within 2hrs. The activities inside were good and informative, the Haagland ride was fun but not suitable for children under 1.2mtrs. We really enjoyed the experience.

I could only book 9 a.m. as the visiting time, had to leave early on public transport (bus 8 to the airport) and was there before the center opened. Alone! Otherwise everything was great - definitely tiring for the 3 huskies. An audio guide would also help because my partner doesn't speak English. All in all, highly recommended!

Excellent day out, we were visiting from the UK and found the centre to be extremely engaging and fun

By far, our favorite activity in New Zealand this far!
