I enjoyed the journey, but the fact that a lot of tourists want to have the pic, makes the enjoyment of the top view a bit uncomfortable. Anyway, enjoyed it a lot, weather started cold and rainy, then changed to a summer day, so I also enjoyed a visit to the city itself.

The funicular was amazing. Very modern interior, the tracks were a feat of engineering. The wait to get on the funicular may be a long one. may be a long one. Also, you will most likely have to stand on ascent and descent. They were very accommodating to passengers using wheelchairs, however. You will have a slightly steep walk to the top after exiting the funicular. The views are magnificent and the restaurant was reasonably priced. It was astounding to watch the para gliders while at the same height as them. Be sure to allow enough time for the descent. The queue may be long. Also, the cars are not air conditioned, so you might get a little warm. I recommend this trip.

Well worth the visit however be ready for a long queue to enter and you can forget about skipping the line. You might be better off without a ticket in advanced as the queue for non ticket holders was empty! Quite hot in the fenicular but its only a 5 minute ride maximum. Doesn’t affect ears too much.
