Very easy with the hungerbergbahnen to a nice zoo in the middle of the mountains with beautiful views. Nice that only animals from the Alphen can be seen. Especially the wolves, lynks and bears are impressive animals which are easy to see! Very nice afternoon (the zoo is quite small, within 3 hours you have seen everything)

In my experience it is advantageous if you decide to take the funicular / cable car (Eg for Hafelekar costs 38 €) which is included in addition to local public transport, and other attractions. In addition, the 24h are real or if you start using it at 15:00 it will be valid until 15 the next day.

The journey from the city of Innsbruck to the Alpenzoo and back is an experience for young and old! The alpine zoo, very well maintained. Only the catering is canteen-like.

What an awesome experience this was! I was mesmerised with the view up there.

Car parking for free at the congress center parking lot for the whole day.
