Innsbruck: Paragliding Adventure

Overall pretty amazing experience and beautiful views. Unfortunately, we ended up late because the app said to meet at the meeting point at our time slot which we did but we received a phone call asking where we were and we were apparently supposed to meet at the top of the gondola service about 30 minutes before our meeting time. They threatened to cancel the service if we didn’t arrive in 5 minutes. They kept saying we received an email but I checked my inbox, spam, and trash folder and found no such email. They were a bit rude at first about it but we all relaxed by the time we were in the air. Great guides and wonderful experience. Definitely worth the time to do it but make sure you drive to Panoramabahn not the address listed in the map and make sure to get there 35-45 minutes BEFORE your actual listed time. Worst case, the views at the top are wonderful and you have some time to walk around.

We (samen met mijn dochter van 16) zouden eerst donderdag gaan paragliden, maar doordat er toen onverwachte zijwinden waren, vonden ze het niet veilig genoeg. Makkelijk nieuwe afspraak gemaakt voor vanochtend (zaterdag) na even te moeten wachten in het leuke eettentje boven, kopje cappuccino aangeboden door hun. En daarna een prachtige vlucht gemaakt! Super service en leuke paraglide gids! Deden leuke truckjes en mochten zelf ook besturen.

Get your guide and the paraglide owner were amazing in arranging this event in such a short time period. Thank you. The owner drove to my lodging and collected me. The weather was perfect for clear skies, updrafts, and the expertises he displayed. I was instructed in each aspect of what to expect. No surprises and only enjoyment. From walking up from the parking lot, walking across snow covered ground, getting connected to the harness, a quick run and off we went into the crystal clear sky. Rineholt the owner explained what we were going to do and I much enjoyed. He pointed out many mountain features. Our landing was fully explained and occurred easily.
