It was really great to arrive early on the site and have the Jingshanling section all to myself! I was able to discover the renovated part and the wilder part. The site is magnificent, surrounded by mountains. The driver was great, and had a translation application to communicate together despite the language barrier. I recommend you go through Catherine if you want to avoid the crowds of the other sections. It's a real plus to have a private driver, much more comfortable than a bus transfer with a group of tourists! Book with your eyes closed, I had one of the most beautiful treks of my life here!

Wonderful experience visiting the Great Wall! We chose the group tour, but it felt like a private one. The section of the Wall was unique, and our guide, Justin, accompanied us throughout the entire visit, providing lots of information and answering all our questions. He was very knowledgeable and friendly—highly recommended! It’s impossible not to give this experience the highest rating.

The trip was very nice. I am glad I had chosen Jinshanglig because it wasn’t crowded at all even on holiday season. Also, there were only 3 people in the group. Justine answered many questions, provided us with insight on how Chinese people live and gave local recommendations.
