Bali: Sunrise Mount Batur Hike with Breakfast

1. Bali: Sunrise Mount Batur Hike with Breakfast

Scale one of Bali’s natural wonders with a private, early-morning hike up Mount Batur, including breakfast and a trip to a coffee plantation afterwards.  With all entry tickets, accommodation transfers, and an expert local guide also included, the only thing you’ll have to worry about is enjoying the panoramic views.  Begin your ascent at the base of Mount Batur after an early pickup from your accommodation. You’ll even start your jungle trek on an exclusive path with fewer trekkers around. Savor the pristine night sky away from the city lights as you hike. After a 2-hour trek, you’ll then be rewarded at the top with sunrise views over the natural landscape and ocean horizon. And even better, you get to enjoy breakfast at the volcano’s summit.  On the way down you’ll enjoy more vistas, such as Lake Batur, an enormous volcanic crater lake.  You’ll also have the opportunity to stop off for a cup of local Luwak coffee at a coffee plantation before being dropped off back at your accommodation.

Head for the island of Nusa Penida and embark on a snorkeling adventure. Take advantage of 3 different stops to swim with Manta Rays, enjoy lunch on the beach, then spend the afternoon exploring the mangrove forest. Benefit from pick-up at your hotel in selected areas of Bali, and then journey to Nusa Penida, located 20 kilometers off the southeast coast. The largest of Bali's 3 sister islands (Nusa Lembongan, Nusa Penida, and Nusa Ceningan), Nusa Penida is much less developed and remains home to abundant and pristine nature. Upon arrival at the protected bay of Manta Bay, discover an ocean rich with plankton that attracts beautiful reef manta rays that can sometimes measure up to an impressive 4 or 5 meters in wing span. Go to 3 of the best snorkel sites on the island, including popular spots (depending on conditions) such as Crystal Bay, Toyapakeh, and Gamat Bay. As the strong swells of the Indian Ocean can impact conditions, the situation will be carefully monitored to take you to where it is safe to swim with the rays less than 1.5 meters from the surface of the sea. If conditions are not suitable, your snorkeling itinerary will be adjusted accordingly, as your safety is always the number one priority. What people are saying about Indonesia

My driver, Putu, was very good. We had good conversation and he was able to explain and answer many of my questions. I learned a lot from him. The hike was great too. We were lucky and the clouds cleared for a perfect sunrise visibility. The only negative is that for the hike, it felt like we had to race to the top. At the meeting point, we were put into groups of 4 and given a hiking guide. All the hiking guides seemed to race to the top. I am not sure why it was such a fast pace and many people were tired. We had plenty of time to get there. When we got to the top, it was still dark. This meant sitting and waiting inthe dark which was cold because it is cold at the top but also because we were sweaty. About half way through I told the guide that the 4 of us wanted to go slower- which his interpretation was more breaks but still going fast, eventually he understood. I got to the top 40 minutes before sunrise

The best experience ever. Our driver Putu arrived perfectly on time and got us there very efficiently and smoothly. He then dropped us to our guide Komang, who was so friendly and happy and made sure we were okay all the way up the mountain. He provided excellent conversation and details about the volcano and we had such a fun morning. He really made the trip special for us. This is a MUST for anyone coming to Bali

Snorkelling was excellent. With all the moving parts such as hotel pickup, multiple boat transfers, buggy tranfers, multiple snorkelling sites, buffet lunch and kyayking. These guys absolutely nailed it. Family of 7 and 10 year old girls had a great time on this trip. Well done Kunut, Dewa and all the team.
