The tour begins with pickup from the cruise terminal before a drive through the historical section of the St. Kitts capital Basseterre. Enrich your cultural experience with historical knowledge as your local guide provides an introduction to the city, founded in 1627 by French settlers. See the Independence Square where slaves were sold and Basseterre's churches. Megan our guide was brilliant, very knowledgeable about St Kitts and we really liked all the info on local herbs, trees and flowers. The tour was excellent value for money, we did understand that we needed to pay the entrance fees of US$3 for Romney Manor and US$15 for Brimstone Fortress, both of which were well worth the money. Megan was a very safe and courteous driver and we saw everything that we were supposed to, was the best tour of our trip to the Caribbean and we learnt loads. Would highly recommend this tour.

Great trip. The hiking is demanding. You do need at least reasonable fitness. There is scrambling over rocks in places but nothing technically demanding. The hike was about five hours and quite steep in places. Take extra water with you. Definitely take proper walking/hiking boots as it will get slippery if in trainers. The guide, Jay was a very good leader with good energy.

Jay was awesome , our group was well adjusted to the hike ,but you can do at your own pace, the site was beautifull on the top once up My first time seeing a volcano from up close ; I am scared of heights and I was fine; bring good running shoes or hiking shoes if you have them

Our guide Stanley was great. He was able to tell us a lot about the history and fauna. Despite the frequent rain, we enjoyed the trip very much. Note: Entrance fees of 3 and 15 US $ are additional to

Excellent tour of Basseterre with very knowledgeable guide. Great views of the Caribbean and Atlantic and lovely time at the beach.
