Experience the thrill of dog sledding in Kiruna with the ease of a round-trip transfer from Abisko. After a scenic bus transfer to Kiruna, you'll meet a team of enthusiastic sled dogs ready to take you on an unforgettable ride through the Arctic wilderness. During the dog sledding adventure, your professional musher/guide will drive a sled that accommodates up to four guests. Having a professional musher drive the sled ensures the highest levels of safety for you, and allows healthy guests of nearly all levels of physical ability to enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime dog sledding adventure. While your professional musher controls the team of dogs, you can sit back, relax, take lots of pictures, and enjoy every second of your time in the Arctic wilderness. Approximately halfway through the dog sledding adventure, you will stop at a remote Arctic wilderness camp where your guide will prepare a warm fire, piping hot drinks, and classic Swedish Fika. An example of what might be served is a warm cup of coffee or tea and steaming cinnamon rolls. Here, you’ll also have the chance to interact with the sled dogs, give them a well-earned belly rub, and capture memorable photos before heading back to the starting point. After your adventure, we’ll return to Abisko, giving you time to reflect on this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Visit the oldest part of Jukkasjärvi where you will hear more about the Kiruna area, the Sami people, and the old church, also called the ”Sami church”, where the oldest parts are from 1607. Meet the reindeers at Nutti Sami siida at the outdoor Sami museum.

Your trip starts by meeting one of our company representatives who will help you aboard our coach before enjoying a scenic ride through the mountains and into the forests of magical Swedish Lapland. On arrival at the ICEHOTEL you will receive your entrance ticket and embark on a self-guided tour and explore the world’s first hotel made completely from ice! Marvel at the amazing individually sculpted Art Suites, Ice Rooms and Ice Church whilst learning about how this one-of-a-kind hotel is designed and created each year . Finally head to the Ice Bar to enjoy one of the coolest drinks you will probably ever have! Following the tour you will have the chance to have lunch in the comfortable restaurant, take a coffee in the stylish bar or buy some souvenirs from your experience at this truly amazing hotel, before going back to Abisko and Björkliden. The Icehotel is in a small village called Jukkasjärvi which is located approximately fifteen minutes from the Kiruna Airport. Because of this close proximity to the Kiruna Airport, many of our guests choose to book this exciting daytrip on the final day of their trip to Abisko, essentially using the tour as an inexpensive and seamless way to enjoy a nice daytrip that takes them in the direction of the city and the airport. You are very welcome to bring your bags with you on this day trip and then catch a bus or taxi directly from the Icehotel to the Kiruna Airport or to another hotel in Kiruna. This strategy works particularly well for clients who fly to Stockholm on one of the afternoon departures from the Kiruna Airport. The winter hotel is constructed during the early winter and thus is usually finished in mid-December. Before this time you will still have access to the amazing ICEHOTEL 365 which allows guests to step inside a sparkling, subfreezing environment all year round thanks to new technology in combination with traditional building methods. Included within the ICEHOTEL 365 building is the Ice Bar which means you will have the chance to visit it in the early winter as well. Minimum age allowed for this activity is 5 years old. STARTING POINT We pick you up from any hotel in Abisko or Björkliden. PICK UP INFORMATION If you are staying in Abisko, please be ready for pick up at your hotel from 9:15 AM. If you are staying in Björkliden the pickup time is 9:00 AM. RETURN TIMES Departing from Jukkasjärvi 2:00 PM. All guests returned to their hotels by 4:00 PM.

Book you private transfer between Kiruna and Tromso by private minibus. Perfect for families and groups - child seats are available upon request We will agree with you pick up time and place. The road between Kiruna and Tromso takes around 5 hours at summer time and 6 hours at winter season. There are few stop at the gas station in the during the journey. Our minibuses are: Mercedes Vito, VW Caravelle, Opel Vivaro, Renault Traffic. The vans can easily fit up to 8 passengers and have a large luggage compartment.
