What people are saying about Hyde Park, Sydney

There was two routes available and buses ran pretty frequently only downside was that some stops were not clearly marked as Big bus stops so made it tricky to find the correct place to be. The cruise was ok but not really much to see. Sydney tower potentially could give a great view of the city but the weather was overcast so we didn’t see very far. The ticket gave entry to an enclosed viewing platform with windows. To go higher and be outside there was a further charge but we didn’t opt to pay. The highlight of the package was the guided tour around the Rocks area of Sydney. The guide was very informative with lots of stories about the past. He took us through some of the back streets which we wouldn’t have realised were there. The walk lasted about 90 minutes and it was a steady stroll so ok for all ages but there were some stairs leading down to the harbour on the route.

The HOHO was excellent but didn’t get a 5 due to the cruise portion.

We exchanged our vouchers for the HOHO, Sky Tower, and 1 hour cruise tickets. The bus was great...no problems, the Sky Tower...great, no problems. The cruise I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. We were given misdirection 3 time trying to find the correct boarding location. Finally we ended up on the HOHO boat... and not the tour boat. It’s like the bus but stops at all the piers continuously. When I asked about the tour...the boat imployees were clueless. I was sent back to the tour office...AGAIN...I had to present the info I had received saying I purchased a “1 hour harbor tour”. They walked me to another pier, put me on a boat....and it was yet again...another HOHO boat. We were disappointed.

The convenience of the pick up/starting point was great. The narrative that we listened to via headphones was at the correct speed and helpful even in predicting when we should get our cameras ready for a great pic. The only downside was there was no bus running on the opposite side that would take you back to the starting point. You either had to walk back (depending on where you were) or ride all the way through the 90+ minute ride until it got back to stop 1.

For a two day visit to Sydney it enabled us to see and do everything we wanted. Bondi, Darling Harbour, S. Harbour Bridge, Harbour Cruise The Eye and to cap it all an excellent guided walk around the Rocks. Thoroughly recommend for two days

We were contacted by phone and given a pick up point close to where we were staying. Picked up by Lincoln who was friendly and chatty. Arrived at the airport greeted by friendly staff and offered refreshments whilst we waited.
