We ride in small groups and offer personal and friendly service! This tour is about 7-10 km, depending on the experience of the riders. It is suitable for beginners and for those with more experience as we can choose between routes in the area. We will either ride on a beautiful and smooth-riding path along the Ingólfsfjall Mountain, this path is for a group of more experienced riders and beginners, and you will enjoy natural riding paths and a wonderful setting for horseback riding where you will get to know the friendly Icelandic horse. Day 2: South Coast of Iceland Second day will start with drive across the South Coast of Iceland to reach your first destination - Seljalandsfoss waterfall and nearby hidden waterfall of Gljufrabui. The highlight of the whole tour is an ice caving. Equipped with all the necessary safety equipment you will jump on the super jeep taking you to the stunning natural ice cave laying underneath the biggest glacier in Europe - Vatnajokull. Your Lava Falls adventure tour takes you off the beaten path into the depths of one of Iceland's largest lava tubes, known as Raufarholshellir. This thrilling two day-tour begins with a scenic drive to Þingvellir National Park. Then we'll make our way to the colorful Geysir geothermal area. You'll see fountains of boiling water shoot high into the sky every few minutes while stepping between hissing hot pots and steam vents! Our next stop is Gullfoss, where you'll see a stunning two-tier waterfall thunder more than 30 meters into a deep canyon. The roaring "Gold Falls" create sheets of spray and rainbows on sunny days, so you'll get some fantastic photos here! Then you'll see the multi-colored volcanic crater at Kerið. Covered in red earth and velvet-green mosses, with a bright blue lake, it creates a fabulous mix of colors! We'll stop for the night at Hveragerði, a tiny South Coast town famous for geothermal greenhouses and sitting on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, where you can stand on two continents simultaneously! The second day begins with three wonderful waterfalls, starting at Seljalandsfoss. Glacial meltwater tumbles down more than 60 meters from a volcano in a narrow ribbon of water. You can even walk through a cave to see the falls from behind! Close by is Skógafoss, another spectacular 60-meter-high cascade famous for being featured in Hollywood movies and TV shows like "Game of Thrones". If it's a sunny day, you'll see rainbows here! The second day's highlight is a trip to Sólheimajokull for an unforgettable glacier hike. This easy-to-reach glacier tongue lets you see these fascinating ice formations up close! The tour ends with a visit to Reynisfjara, the famous black sand beach. A photographer's dream, you'll be thrilled by the endless volcanic sands, the stunning basalt columns, the mighty Atlantic waves and the jagged sea stacks of the Reynisdrangar. The perfect end to an unforgettable trip!

The destination of the day is Þórsmörk – English spelling Thorsmork, the “Woods of Thor the Thundergod”. It's where the Icelanders traditionally go themselves to get away from it all. Guarding Þórsmörk nature reserve from unwanted traffic are several streams and glacial rivers cutting the rough track. Crossing requires caution. And specially modified vehicles of course. The first highlight of the day is the powerfully beautiful Seljalandsfoss waterfall, a good 60 meters of constant rush. Conditions permitting, how about a walk around it – yes, you can go behind Seljalandsfoss. Soon after the road starts disintegrating and nature takes over your senses. Bordering Þórsmörk nature reserve to the south is the famously ash-spewing volcano Eyjafjallajökull, topped by glacial ice and snow. Amongst numerous places of interest on our route is the Gígjökull glacier lagoon which is actually off the maps now. In 2010 it disappeared under volcanic rubble in a catastrophic flood of glacial melt and debris, caused by the Eyjafjallajökull eruption. Where we go in the Þórsmörk Nature Reserve depends from day to day on weather and other conditions, but canyons, woodlands and caves are ideal settings for short walks.
