We really enjoyed our experience with Antonio Rental Bikes. We did a self-guided tour using the provided longer route by the provider. We were given a great explanation of the places to see along the route and debrief on how to use the mountain bikes. The roads were quite hilly but the bikes made the trip fun and manageable for me, my husband and our 14 year old son. Even on a hot day, the bike ride was not too hot as there was a nice breeze coming off the water. I highly recommend packing towels and water shoes so that you can take a dip in the sea at the beach in Milna (followed by a beer at the Tiki Bar). Definitely worth it to go the long route and visit Stari Grad--don't be intimidated by the extra distance. We had lunch at Antika and visited some of the shops and galleries. It was a nice way to stretch our legs and a much quieter and more quaint place to roam than Hvar town. This was a fun way to explore Hvar while burning a few calories!

The bikes were very comfortable and easy to use and the route was pleasant and easy to follow. There are a couple of nice places to stop for drinks and we stopped in Malo Grablje for lunch in a traditional restaurant which had great food. The beach at Milna is nice and quiet but the beach at Pokonji dol Beach is too busy so worth a miss. If the weather hadn’t been so hot it would have been nice to cycle further and visit Stari Grad.

Today, on our final day in Hvar, we biked 14 miles through the hills, with the scent of blooming lavender drifting through the air. Hvar, Croatia, is known as the “Lavender Island” due to its extensive lavender fields, particularly the variety called lavandin, also known as “Budrovka.” Lavender is a significant part of the island’s identity and economy. #biking #ebike #cycling #hvar #lavendar #waldmanadventures

First time on E bikes, what a blast! We rode from Hvar to Stari Grad for a nice lunch, then back over the mountain. The rental shop was easy to find by the ferry dock, and very helpful getting us set up and recommending a route. Highly recommend!

The route was wonderfully tailored to easily see various different highlights of the island of Hvar. We loved starting off our trip with this activity to get a feel of all that Hvar has to offer!
